A little
about ourselves. Ian and I have been married since 1964. We have three
children Jacqui, Pauline, Ross. Pauline has blessed us with two lovely
grandchildren, Laura and Craig.
Our first sheltie came into our lives as a family pet in 1967.Misty was a
loving companion to our family.when she died the children decided to have
a rough collie, and so our lives changed - this was 1976. We became
involved in the world of showing and breeding. Ian and I always
wanted another sheltie (our first love) and so in 1983 Liesha came into
our lives,at the same time as we moved into our present home in the
beautifull Ochil Hills. Lots of space and freedom for our
growing family.
Ian goes out to work to keep us happy and I stay at home to look after
shelties, persian cats, 30 hens, 3 mogies and a boarding cattery.
I also breed and show persian cats. Ian is a championship judge in
shetland sheepdogs. He judges working and pastoral groups at open show
level. At the moment I only judge at open show level. We have both passed
judging exams run by MWSSC and ESSC. We are both on the committee of the Scottish
Breeds Canine Club of which Ian is chairman.
